One of Europe’s leading jazz ensembles, SNJO has enhanced its reputation through recent collaborations with vibes virtuoso Gary Burton and guitarist John Scofield and continues its adventures by celebrating Duke Ellington’s Shakespearean suite SUCH SWEET THUNDER and showcasing its new CD, TORAH. Composed by SNJO director, saxophonist Tommy Smith, Torah presents orchestral jazz at its most powerfully expressive.
