Celebrating the launch of their new record, Live at Second Line Records, the debut release from Second Line Records, George Burt, Raymond MacDonald, Una MacGlone, and David Robertson come together to play breezy melodies, original compositions and open-ended improvisations, creating a sound that is warm, intimate, accessible and exploratory. 

They move fluidly between structure and spontaneity, drawing on influences from Scottish folk music, jazz, classical, pop and avant-garde performance. The result is a vibrant, genre-defying sound that reflects both deep musical roots and a commitment to creative risk-taking. Each musician is a key figure in the Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra, and together they represent a rich cross-section of Scotland’s contemporary music.
